Head Instructor – Jose Becerra is a 1st degree black belt under Diego Bispo. Jose started training Jiu Jitsu in 2011 and formally started training in the Gi in 2012. He has trained along side so many great and notable competitors and athletes, as well as learning from some of the greatest minds across all of grappling, He became a professional grappler in 2016 and still competes to this day. Jose has also traveled all over to the world throughout his Jiu Jitsu journey/career, in search of different styles and methods of training the art. Coaching became the focus after opening Parallel Jiu Jitsu. His goals of managing and building students up, to not only get better quicker and more efficiently, but also to surpass him, has always been priority over competition.

Assistant instructor – Noah Dukeman is a purple belt under Jose Becerra. He began training just as Parallel Jiu Jitsu opened its doors in 2017. Noah has collected numerous gold medals over the years, in multiple championship tournaments across the region and is well versed in both Gi and Nogi Jiu Jitsu.
